Sample Weight

The maximum weight that can be placed on the rotation stage is 45 kg. This maximum weight includes the weight of the sample, any sample holders and any experimental apparatus that is on the rotation stage. This is a hard limit as anything heavier will cause damage to the rotation stage.  If the total weight exceeds 45 kg, the experimental apparatus needs to be modified or the sample needs to be reduced in size.
